About University of London Laws Programmes

(CERT HE) Certificate of Higher Education in Common Law is a qualification in its own right that also provides an entry route to degree-level study.
It is ideal if you are ready to study for a degree but do not have the qualifications usually required to enter. Develop a critical awareness of the common law legal tradition and apply problem-solving skills to a range of legal and non-legal settings.

This academic qualification is ideal for people who want to study English law for career or personal reasons but don’t want to commit themselves to a full LLB law degree. Law is also a fascinating subject to study in its own right. However, completion of the CertHE programme allows you to enroll into the second year of the LLB Honors degree programme.
The CertHE covers the same first four subjects taken by students enrolled on the LLB programme but forms a freestanding academic qualification in its own right. It can be completed in one by full time study, or spread over two. The diploma requires a considerable amount of independent study.

In a world where degree providers are proliferating, theUniversity of London Bachelor of Laws offers the security of an internationally recognised ‘gold standard’ established for over 100 years. The University of London was the first to offer a degree in English Law, in the 1890s. Upon graduation you will be joining a distinguished group of solicitors, barristers and judges around the world who began their careers by obtaining their law degree through the University of London International Programmes. The academic direction of the LLB and Diploma in Law is provided by a Consortium of outstanding University of London Law Schools: Birkbeck, King’s, LSE, Queen Mary, SOAS and UCL.

Master of Laws (LLM) is provided jointly by the Departments of Law of Queen Mary (QMUL) and UCL. The teachers from the University of London Law Schools plan the structure and content of the programme, develop and write study materials, set the examination papers and mark scripts. Both QMUL and UCL have 5-star rated Departments of Law.

Royal Holloway School of Management has a fresh and intellectually challenging approach to management research and education. Studying BSc Business Administration from Royal Holloway means that you will learn from internationally renowned experts who will share their research with you in the form of their academic direction, so that you gain current and relevant management skills and knowledge.
