If the attendance is below 75% (or the minimum required number of years) then the management has the right to drop my course and award an F (Failure) The duration of my diploma / degree will increase and I shall have no objection to it. That I shall maintain identity as a student of TMUC by following University Dress Code and wearing Student Card at all time on the premises. That I am not suffering from any serious / contagious disease / ailment or any psychiatric or psychological disorder which could be barrier for me during my studies. That if I am a transfer student, it will be my responsibility to provide Students Registration Number and previous results at the time of admission. That TMUC is not responsible for my academic pre-requisite that I may require for HEC and it is my responsibility to complete HEC requirements for any equivalence. TMUC will not be held responsible if local/International universities do not grant me admission on the basis of my educational qualication. That I shall not indulge in politics for any Political Party / Union / Organization / Student Federations and holding a gathering, meeting or taking out procession in any part of the University, I understand that my failure to observe this clause of undertaking shall result in cancellation of my admission / expulsion from the college, and the decision of the Administrator / Dean of Academics / Head of International Progammes in this regard will not be challenged in any Court of Law. That in case of withdrawal of a qualicationfrom the awarding body TMUC is not liable to refund my admission, tuition and annual fees. TMUC will not be held responsible if equivalency request is rejected by HEC, which has full discretion in entertaining such requests. That I shall not request the university to release my Diploma/Degree until I have; gained clearance from all departments, cleared my fee dues, and met the above mentioned requirements of attendance and assignment submission. That I will pay my Pearson Registration Fee applicable at the time of admission, at the beginning of HND Qualication That I understand that a request for registration with Pearson shall only be entertained by the TMUC management subject to payment of local fee applicable at the time of admission That I understand that the Pearson Registration Fee and the respective fee payment is only valid for a time period of 24 months, after which a surcharge @ £50 per month (extension) shall be imposed That I shall only request for my internal/external transcript at the end of each semester, i.e. (6 months) subject to appearance at the Final VIVA session/Presentation or any other requirement by the Faculty/Management. That I understand that I can only become eligible to make a request for Diploma Claim subject to the fulllmentof criteria, i.e. Submission of 15 assignments in bound hard form, complete payment against the time period of my course, i.e. (at least 24 months or otherwise in case of extension in Course time period) That I understand that nalgrades in a particular subject shall be awarded only by the International Standard VVerie(ISV) That I understand that the class attendance and VIVA attendance shall count towards my nalgrade and I shall be penalised and considered responsible in case of uninformed absence That I shall submit my assignment to Turnitin before making nalsubmission, otherwise my assignment shall not be accepted That I will follow all the policies and procedures applied by the TMUC management and shall be held responsible in case of non-compliance I have carefully read the terms of the above undertaking and understand that following these are for my own benetand improvement. TMUC, in pursuance of the policies as per the student charter and as detailed in the TMUC prospectus and hand book, seeks to achieve its objectives within an agreed 'Student Code of Conduct'. If there is evidence that students have breached or broken the student Code of Conduct, the 'Student Disciplinary Procedure' will be applicable. Misconduct is behaviour that: Interferes with the safe functioning of the TMUC or of those who study, work or teach in the TMUC, or Otherwise damages the TMUC or its reputation, and or Constitutes a criminal offence In the event of a serious breach, criminal misconduct, or where it is believed that the health, safety or welfare of others may be jeopardized by the continuing presence of a person or persons they will be suspended or withdrawn from the TMUC admissions register immediately. In relation to the core activity of teaching and learning, students are expected to: Adopt a diligent and co-operative approach to all aspects of student life and Accept responsibility in creating a supportive TMUC educational community Throughout their period of study with the TMUC, students are expected to abide by the student code of conduct which is based upon respect for individuals, teachers, management, race, culture, religion, background, property and the environment. The following actions, whether occurring on TMUC premises or elsewhere, are examples of conduct which is not acceptable to the TMUC and may lead to instigation of formal student disciplinary procedures: Conduct which constitutes a criminal offence e.g. assault, theft, fraud, deceit, deception or dishonesty. Plagiarism, violent, indecent, disorderly, threatening, abusing, intimidating or offensive behaviour or language towards any student, teacher or member of administration and management. Social, racial or any other form of harassment is dealt with strictly. Misuse, misappropriation, theft or damage of TMUC property. Action, likely to cause injury or to impair Health and safety procedures. Action, likely to cause injury or to impair electrical, gas and e safety procedures. Failure to respect the rights of others to freedom of belief and freedom of speech. Behaviour which brings the Institution into disrepute. E.g. such conduct as abusive, anti-social or discourteous behaviour, political activism in TMUC or outside, inconsiderate noise or parking, disregard of the TMUC parking code, causing litter and especially criminal damage to private property, TMUC signs or vehicles. Disruption of, or improper interference with, the academic, administrative, sporting, social or other activities of the TMUC. Obstruction of, or improper interference with, the functions, duties or activities of any student, member of staff, or visitor of the Institution. Misuse or unauthorized use of TMUC premises. Failure to disclose personal details to a member of sta ffof TMUC in circumstances in which it is reasonable to require that such information be given. Students found violating the TMUC study time table. Students found not wearing the TMUC authorized dress code. Students must always show respect to the teachers, faculty members, members of TMUC administration and management. Students must not cheat in examinations, assignments, assessments or in course work. Any form of plagiarism shall be dealt with rml . Students must respect the property of other people and that of the TMUC and its premises. Students must not bring illegal substances onto TMUC premises including drugs or alcohol. Smoking is not permitted within TMUC buildings, premises and parking areas and is dealt with rmly non ompliance may lead to withdrawal from the admissions register without further notice. Students must not bring the reputation of the College into disrepute through anti-social behaviour either on or off TMUC premises and must abide by reasonable instructions issued by a member of the TMUC's sta ffor administration. Individuals bringing vehicles, cars, motorcycles onto TMUC premises must observe parking and speed restrictions and drive with care and consideration for others. Students must abide by the IT Code of Practice and TMUC Library Code of Practice. Students must be punctual, latecomers will be ned and a y Leave of absence (except in case of sickness) must be given in advance in writing to the Head of the Institution or otherwise the student shall be subject to 'student disciplinary procedure'. Students coming late to TMUC shall be issued 'TMUC student conduct card and issuance of 3 conduct cards shall lead to the suspension of student for 3 days as in accordance with the student disciplinary procedure. No expensive jewellery, watches, electronic devices including laptops or i-pods, pencil cases, stationery items, are allowed to be brought to TMUC. TMUC will not be responsible for the loss of these articles. Large amount of money should not be brought to TMUC. The TMUC management will not be responsible for any loss of clothes, books, money or any other items. Students must compulsorily take part in all co-curricular and extra-curricular activities organized by the TMUC. These are especially designed for the overall educational needs and personality development of each child. Behaviour that contravenes TMUC 'Student Code of Conduct' will be dealt with through the 'Student Disciplinary Procedure.' Delays in registration with BTEC Pearson UK will result in deferred Exit Award. Pearson Registration Fee is valid for two years. If the Diploma is extended due to any reason (extenuating or re-submissions/re-takes) additional continuation fees has to be paid. Fees Department will assist you with current fees. DELAYS IN EXIT AWARD: Fees requirements: You need to ensure your fees (local and International) are paid on time stipulated by the campus, delay in your International fees will automatically delay registering with the qualication/programme. And the delay will reect on your timeline for completion of your programme and your exit award. (the day you are registered on Edexcel Online portal it will take 2 years minimum to complete the award, you can be eligible to claim your award after 2 academic years; all academic requirements have to be met, pending External Verication) Academic Requirements: All your submissions are to be made timely, you are to full the academic set criteria in the brief, and the similarity should be as per TMUC and the International Programme policy. Ensuring and declaring that the work submitted by you is not plagiarized, follows the academic requirements set in your student handbook and by your brief. Your submissions will have to be assessed and internally veried and externally veried. You must have passed all of your units. Any resubmission and retakes will delay your exit award. In order for you to proceed in your programme you will need to fulll all academic requirements. Your Submission are externally veried (Pearson: your assessment and registration dates are both checked and conrmed at this stage) It is an offence if the student is found guilty of, or party to collusion, plagiarism, impersonation, poor academic practice and/or any act that may lead to misleading the Assessor or Internal Verier about the source of information submitted for and included in the assessment. Timeline management: Your programme team has set timelines that are shared with you at the beginning of the programme, they are there to ensure smooth function, and they are to be adhered to at all costs. Any delay or failure to meet timelines will result in delays in your progressing from one module to another it will effect moving ahead within one unit Learning outcomes. In cases where a student may request for extenuating circumstances, TMUC Academic Committee holds the decision for resubmission or retake. Assessors shall be required to complete academic review of each student after completion of each Learning Outcome, with assistance and presence of Programme Nominee and QA. Assessors shall participate in faculty review before start of academic session. This review includes discussion on result analysis of the completed semester. Assessors shall be required to participate in all academic meetings arranged by the QAD and International office. This includes meeting with regulators and academic partners. Assessors shall be required to participate in industry engagement events organized by the department. The assessor is to ensure a complete attendance record, and provide daily and weekly feedback of chronic cases to the Head of department and the Academic Coordinators Faculty Attendance should be marked in the attendance register at the time of arrival at the Nominated office or electronically through face detection/ biometrics. We would want you to adhere to the numbers of hours allowed. These credit hours are subject to course completion. All faculty members must email a written evaluation/ feedback every 1st of Month to the HoD, copying Dean, HOI & QAD. Evaluation must include your concerns, struggling students' feedback, attendance issues etc. Strategies for improvement should also be included. You are hereby advised to ensure that your personal attendance as well as students' attendance are marked by yourself on every lecture day (manually/ electronically). Student attendance is mandatory to be marked on lecture day duly signed by yourself (Entered by yourself in-case of VLE) and programme coordinator/manager. Likewise, it is mandatory for you to log your check-in and check-out timings along with your signatures on regular basis, as your hourly claims (where applicable) would be processed according to the attendance record available in the attendance register. TMUC has implemented online student attendance using VLE and hence it will be the faculty's responsibility to duly mark student attendance promptly on this online system(s) and in manual attendance register as well (as a back-up). System credentials will be shared by the department. All faculty members are required to upload their lectures, resource and any assessment activities onto the VLE. All grading and assessment must be done through VLE along with feedbacks.
