Age: Min 18 years Mature Students are accepted subject to work experience

Criteria 1: (If IBCC/HEC Equivalency is sought by student)

• Local Qualifications: Intermediate
• International Qualifications: 8 O levels, 3 A Levels (A-E)
• Years of Education completed: 12

Criteria 2: If IBCC/ HEC Equivalency is not sought (Mandatory declaration by the student at the time of admission)

• Age: Minimum 17 years or above at the time of admission
• Local Qualifications: Intermediate 3. International Qualifications: Minimum 5 O levels, 2 A Levels (A-E) or completed Level 3 NCC or Level 3 UOL International Foundation Programme or Level
• BTEC Nationals. Criteria 3: (Conditional Admission: If the student is in the process of completing 12th standard. Mandatory declaration by the student at the time of admission.) A candidate in the process of completing their Intermediate/Alevels by appearing in a failed/ pending subject (having passed 1A-level/2As) may be granted admission on the condition that they will meet Criteria 2 in the next

exam session following their TMUC admission. It will be the student’s duty to inform Admission staff regarding the completion of their 12th standard. Note: A student with only Matric/O-levels will not be considered for HN admissions. They could be enrolled in a foundation programme if they meet the relevant entrance criteria. For the purposes of clarity and growing number of equivalency cases, the admission counsellors, programme team and team dealing with public information, it is advised to have a clear stance on eligibility criteria, i.e, the student must be made aware at the very beginning about his/her future prospects of equivalency with local regulator and any requests to admissions must only be approved if the student agrees to sign a declaration on understanding the complications of equivalency at later stage.

English proficiency Test: All Students will have to pass a written English test to meet the entrance criteria.

FHEQ Level 4 Admission:

• 50% in FA/ICS/ICOM/FSc/ or acceptable equivalent in qualifications offered in Pakistan plus English proficiency evidence (IELTS 6.0), and/or Pearson Versant Test
• Level 3 qualification or A’ Levels in at least 2 subjects with A-E grades.
• Four GCSE passes- including English- with a mandatory Grade C or equivalent at SSC level

FHEQ Level 6 Admission (Top-up)
Pearson Higher Nationals Diploma at FHEQ Level 5 in Business with Merit Grade or acceptable equivalent diploma or qualification. English Grade C at O level or equivalent or IELTS overall 6

FHEQ Level 4 Entry to BSc Admission:

104 UCAS points.
IB – 104 from a minimum of 2 HL subjects at H4 or above (with the remaining points to come from a combination of HL, SL and Core).
GCSE Maths and English Language at grade 4 (C) or above.
50% in FA/ICS/ICOM/FSc/

For students whose first language is not English, competence in English must be demonstrated through an overall IELTS score of 6.0, or equivalent qualification.
Access to computer equipment with the following minimum specification.
All students from non-majority English speaking countries require proof of English language proficiency. The following qualifications and grades will be considered
– GCSE English language grade A-C
– IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in any band)/ Pearson Versant Test (Student Placements)

FHEQ Level 6 Admission (Top-up)

Pearson Higher Nationals Diploma Computing and System Development at FHEQ Level 5 with Merit Profile. Subject to approval from UH School of Computing & TMUC Computing Department.

Academic Requirement

3 UK GCSE / GCE O level (or equivalent qualification) passes at grade A – C in non-overlapping subjects (including English) plus 2 further UK GCE A level (or equivalent qualification)  passes at grade A – E in non-overlapping subjects

ILETS score of an overall 6 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each sub-test) can accommodate if the English grade requirement is unfulfilled.

IBCC equivalence certificate  is a requirement for HEC and Bar Council equivalence.

Age Requirement

Student should ideally be aged 17 or above by 30 November in the year of registration

BTEC Level 4/5:

• Students successfully completing HND Hospitality Management with Merit Profile. And/or.
• CTH – Level 5 – Hospitality Management – PASS; and.
• Minimum IELTS 6.0 score overall is required for admission

Top-Up (Year 3)

BTEC Level 4/5:

• Students successfully completing *HND Level 5 at Merit Profile. The candidate during the selection interview is evaluated on the basis of five areas each carrying equal weightage:
• Basic Portfolio (Final Project at Level 5)
• Communication Skills must be good.
• Commitment and passion to study in the applied programme
• Analytical and Critical Ability
• Overall Confidence

Standard Entry Level 4

Academic Background Applicants who have successfully completed

50% Intermediate

Cambridge qualifications, minimum 5 O level subjects and two A-Level subjects are required to get admission

• A’ Levels in at least 2 subjects with A-E grades.

International Baccalaureate (IB) with at least 23 out of 45 points

Foreign qualifications such as American High School Diploma, Ontario Secondary School Diploma (Canada), etc. must be equivalent to minimum C grade (50%) Intermediate qualifications. • Distinction, Merit, Merit at BTEC Extended Diploma AND
• Other relevant and equivalent UK and international qualifications are considered on an individual basis. Minimum English language requirements: For FA/FSc students who have less than 50% in English language are required to provide IELTS 6.0/ or equivalent (TOEFL, PTE) Important Note: Being the Largest UK Creative University, UCA takes a balanced approach to candidate assessment, taking both individual portfolios and exam results into account. That’s why student/candidate portfolio is an especially important part of application to study with UCA – which supports admission applications. HND/CTH Level 5 at Merit Profile. Subject Area Knowledge is required for Example: Business, Management, Leisure, Sports, Tourism and Hospitality studies, Conference and Exhibitions Management, Catering and Retail Management and this will be assessed on a case by case basis. And the candidate during the selection interview is evaluated on the basis of following areas each carrying equal weightage:

• Subject Knowledge
• Communication Skills must be good.

At least an Upper 2nd class Honours degree or equivalent qualification in the subject or a related discipline

Have successfully completed Level 6 in the relevant subject with an overall Merit Profile

English language requirements: 55% / Grade D or above in English subject; be required to give IELTS (acceptableequivalent) minimum 4.0 in each individual band and a score of 4.5 overall

Important Note: All candidates awaiting exams/results shall be enrolled on conditional entry onto NCC level 3. Other equivalent international qualifications are considered on an individual basis.
