BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance

The programme is ideal for those who wish to pursue a career in accountancy, consulting or in financial services. Graduates of this degree will be equipped to use accounting statements and financial information to aid in decision-making. The course covers theory and practices involved in financial accounting, working capital management, risk management, business valuation, mergers and acquisitions which are all of primary concern to a corporate manager. The course provides a strong foundation in accounting and finance particularly for those who wish to pursue a professional accountancy qualification or an academic study in related areas after graduation.

Who is it for? This degree is for you if you:

  • Wish to go on to take professional accountancy qualifications. You may be able to gain exemptions from several of the examinations of professional accountancy bodies (depending on the courses taken). We do advise you to contact the relevant bodies for advice .
  • Are professionally qualified in the accountancy field and would now like to take a degree.
  • Have not yet decided which profession to pursue and are interested in the fields of accounting and finance.

BSc (Hons) Business and Management

A successful business enterprise involves a lot more than an innovative idea. It requires insights into the industry, the market that exists for the product or service, the basis of competition and identifying competitors. The success of a business venture also depends on how one navigates the interdependencies between the various aspects of a business, viz. finance, marketing, operations and human resources. An undergraduate degree in management hones your ability to identify, analyse and solve multidisciplinary problems which are specific to different organisational models

BSc (Hons) Economics and Management

A degree in economics and management gives you a unique opportunity to study the two most sought-after disciplines in social science. Economics provides an understanding of resource allocation between economic entities, while management is focused on determining how best to utilize allocated resources to achieve the goals of an organization.

This degree would be attractive to students who wish to explore the interaction between the organization and the economic environment which it inhabits. You learn about the nature and functioning of the different aspects of an organization, like product development, finance, marketing and human resources. BSc (Hons) Politics and International Relations

Politics and International Relations at UOL offers a diverse range of courses that will enhance your knowledge and understanding of the subject. The analysis and evaluation skills that you develop will help you in your future career. Some of the topics that you will study throughout the program include Liberalism, Patterns of Global Wealth and Inequality, Human and Economic Rights, Migration and Citizenship, Foreign Policy, Theories of IR, Research Methodology, Global Plotical economy etc.

Certificate of Higher Education in Social Science (CHESS)

The ‘Certificate of Higher Education in Social Sciences’ (CHESS) is a qualification in its own. It provides an entry route to the Economics, Management, Finance and Social Sciences degrees offered through the International Programmes with academic direction from LSE.

By successfully completing the programme, you will develop analytical competence allowing you to undertake further undergraduate study.
