UCA has recently update their Academic Regulations and Grading Descriptors, adjusting the pass mark for Level 7 postgraduate units, in response to changes in the new conditions of registration set by UK’s Office for Students (OfS). This change applies to all postgraduate students who enrolled onto a programme with us for the first time in September 2023. The pass threshold for students on these courses will be adjusted to 50% from the current pass mark of 40%, to align with the wider Higher Education sector. Please note that this does not mean that achieving a pass mark will become harder for students. To ensure that students are provided with a consistent and transparent academic experience UCA have set out the Academic Regulations and Grading Descriptors.

Studying this course will give you the opportunity to work collaboratively within the Business & Skills Department, enabling you to create visionary and contemporary approaches to events and promotion management, underpinned by exceptional business skills. You’ll explore what is required to set up your own events business as a self-starter or make an impact on the events industry at a national and international level, ensuring you leave TMUC with the skills to design, manage and deliver events for the creative industries.
Throughout the course, you’ll study units such as Experiential Event Design & Management, Venue Management as well as Marketing and Digital Skills. This will allow you to identify opportunities within the the market to create new and innovative promotional activities, while also developing your presentation and pitching skills.
