  • Age 17+ by 31 December in the year of registration.
  • Hold four separate subjects at GCSE / O level (grades A-C), or the equivalent.
  • Meet the English language requirements including GCSE/GCE O level English language at grade C or above or has demonstrated fluency in academic English (for example, a test of proficiency in English such as IELTS at 5.5 band OR Year 12 Pakistani schooling will require 4 separate subjects passed at 50% or above. If schooling is not taught in the medium of English then in addition they will require an acceptable proficiency test in English (such as IELTS) or Year 10 Pakistani schooling will require an average of at least 80% in all subjects taken. In addition they will require an acceptable proficiency test in English (such as IELTS).

Get admission in:

You will also be able to transfer to a CHESS and Cert HE in Common Law or almost all other undergraduate degrees offered through the University of London International Programmes.

CHESS
  • Normally* be aged 18 or above by the 31 December in the year of registration and
  • Have four GCSE/O level at grades A–C and one GCE/A level at grades A–E, or six GCSE/O level at grades A–C, or equivalent and including Mathematics and English at O- Level with a grade C or above or English language proficiency: IELTS (with a minimum of 5.5 in each sub-test) or equivalent, as set out on the International Programmes website
  • Note: 2 As level in different subjects is considered as 1 A-level. We can forward a case that is close to the entrance criteria to UoL through National manager Admissions for consideration.
  • Year 12 Pakistani schooling will require 6 separate subjects passed at 50% or above, including Maths or an overall percentage of 70% in Intermediate. If Maths is not passed at 50% or above then we will accept year 10 Maths passed at 80% or above. If schooling is not taught in the medium of English then in addition they will require an acceptable proficiency test in English (such as IELTS

Age Requirement:

For international baccalaureate the standard minimum requirement is 34 points overall, with a combined score of 16 achieved in three higher level subjects with no grade lower than 5.

(Comparing International Baccalaureate to A level Our programmes may specify up to two individual higher level grade requirements. Where this is the case, a higher level grade of 6 is specified as the equivalent of an A grade requirement at A level, and a higher level grade of 7 is specified as the equivalent of an A* grade requirement at A level.

For example, a programme that requires grades AAB at A level including grade A in Chemistry has an IB Diploma requirement of 36 points with a score of 17 in three higher level subjects including grade 6 in Chemistry, with no score lower than 5.) HND/HNC HNC and HND satisfy general entry for all programmes, where applicable applicants will also require course requirements such as Maths – either taken from the HNC/HND or from previous schooling such as O level

A candidate in the process of completing their Intermediate/Alevels by appearing in a failed/ pending subject (having passed 1A-level/2As) may be granted admission on the condition that they will meet Criteria 2 in the next

exam session following their TMUC admission. It will be the student’s duty to inform Admission staff regarding the completion of their 12th standard. Note: A student with only Matric/O-levels will not be considered for HN admissions. They could be enrolled in a foundation programme if they meet the relevant entrance criteria. For the purposes of clarity and growing number of equivalency cases, the admission counsellors, programme team and team dealing with public information, it is advised to have a clear stance on eligibility criteria, i.e, the student must be made aware at the very beginning about his/her future prospects of equivalency with local regulator and any requests to admissions must only be approved if the student agrees to sign a declaration on understanding the complications of equivalency at later stage.
