Under the ICAP Education Scheme 2025, the Chartered Accountancy (CA) qualification consists of the following levels and components:

Eligibility

  1. Intermediate (HSSC) / A Levels

You can register for CA if you have:

  • Intermediate (FA/FSc/ICS/I.Com) with at least 60% marks
    OR
  • A Levels (three subjects) with at least 60% equivalence

If your marks are between 50% and below 60%, you must pass the Qualifying Assessment Test (QAT) before registration.

  1. Associate degree (14 years of education)
  • Relevant associate degree (Accounting/Business-related) with at least 45% marks may allow direct entry to the CAF stage.
  • Non-relevant associate degree holders may need to complete earlier requirements (such as PRC), depending on eligibility.
  1. Bachelor’s Degree (16 years of education)
  • Relevant 4-year degree (such as Accounting & Finance) may allow entry directly to CAF or GCC, subject to ICAP criteria and possible exemptions.
