*Islamabad, Pakistan:* The Millennium Universal College (TMUC) has reaffirmed its commitment to international collaboration and academic excellence following an official leadership visit to three of its prominent academic partners in the United Kingdom.
During the visit, the TMUC delegation held strategic meetings with representatives from the University of Hertfordshire, the University of London and the University for the Creative Arts. The engagements focused on strengthening existing partnerships, enhancing academic quality and identifying new opportunities to improve the learning experience of TMUC students across Pakistan.
The delegation was led by Dr Faisal Mushtaq (TI), Chief Executive Officer of The Millennium Universal College. Other members included Mariam Qasim, Dean of Academics and Internationalization; Anab Arshad, Head of Institute at TMUC Lahore; Madiha Muqeem, Head of Institute at TMUC Karachi; and Waqas Mather, Head of International Partnerships.
The delegates participated in a series of high-level meetings with senior university leaders, academics, faculty members and institutional representatives. Discussions reflected a shared commitment to academic excellence, effective quality assurance, educational innovation and student success.
Key areas discussed during the visit included institutional collaboration, curriculum innovation, programme development, faculty development, research and student engagement.
The meetings also provided an opportunity to review existing academic collaborations and exchange international best practices in teaching, governance and student support. The institutions explored future initiatives aimed at strengthening graduate employability and preparing students for an increasingly competitive global environment.
At the University of Hertfordshire, the delegation met senior academic and institutional representatives to discuss ongoing collaboration, quality-enhancement initiatives and opportunities to expand academic engagement.
Campus tours and meetings gave the delegation further insight into the university’s teaching methodologies, learning environments and student-support services. Both institutions also considered potential areas for the future development of their partnership.
Meetings at the University of London focused on programme delivery, academic governance, quality assurance and the further development of collaborative initiatives.
The visit reinforced TMUC’s commitment to maintaining high academic standards and providing an exceptional learning experience to students pursuing internationally recognised University of London qualifications in Pakistan.
The delegation’s visit to the University for the Creative Arts highlighted developments in creative education, innovation and industry engagement.
Delegates explored the university’s contemporary learning environments and creative studios while discussing opportunities that could further enrich TMUC’s creative programmes and strengthen the student experience.
The visit reinforced TMUC’s relationships with its UK academic partners and strengthened collaboration in academic governance and quality assurance. It also identified opportunities for programme development, curriculum innovation, faculty development and the exchange of international best practices.
Potential initiatives to enhance student engagement, academic achievement and graduate employability were also explored.
International partnerships remain central to TMUC’s vision of delivering globally recognised and benchmarked education in Pakistan. The knowledge and collaborative opportunities gained during the visit are expected to support future institutional initiatives and continued academic enhancement across TMUC campuses.
